September 22, 1998: Sundial Systems announces the release of Mesa 2 2.2.
This is one of my two reviews in the July 16, 1998, issue of OS/2 e-Zine! It's not a fluff piece--my ethics are stubborn--so please treat it accordingly.
This is the second review I did for the July 16, 1998, issue of OS/2 e-Zine! I took my computer away from the Florida fires to do the review. My spare monitor was blown, I worked all week in Excel, and I had to get my girlfriend's new homebrew computer working. There's some attitude to this review.

February 17, 1996: Apparently, there were rumors that Athena Design closed its doors. This is one of the stories that squashed that notion.
February 12, 1996: Infoworld's Nicholas Petreley makes a commentary about Microsoft. Near the end of it, he mentions something about Microsoft wishing to "get its mitts on Athena" at a time when Athena was making Mesa. Interesting. I don't know if the allegation is true, though.
December 16, 1995: I thought this was a cool touch of publicity.
November 4, 1995: This was an article from comp.os.os2.announce. It offers a public bug list for Mesa 2.0.4. I'm sure it took some guts to make such a move.
June 1995: Byte compares Lotus 1-2-3 2.1 to Mesa 2 2.0.1. It's not a pretty sight for these two spreadsheets.
April 1995: The Southern California OS/2 User Group reviews one of the Athena Design versions of Mesa 2 for OS/2.
April 3, 1995: Athena Design has some fun on this Mesa-related page.
January 20, 1995: Athena Design formally announces the release of Mesa 2 2.0.1.
